Dr. Suhail Sharif

Dr. Suhail Sharif is a board certified surgeon specializing in the field of surgical oncology.  As the only fellowship trained surgical oncologist in Tarrant County, Dr. Sharif specializes in surgical management of advanced colorectal, hepaticobiliary, pancreatic, melanoma/sarcoma, breast and GI tract malignancies.  He is trained in DaVinci Robotic Surgery and is an expert in Minimally Invasive surgical management of cancers.

Dr. Sharif completed his medical degree at New York Medical College in Vallhalla, New York.  He then attended the University of Illinois College of Medicine and Metropolitan Group Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois for his internship and residency in General Surgery followed by Surgical Oncology Fellowship training at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio.  Dr. Sharif currently has offices in Fort Worth and Arlington, Texas.  He is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Baylor All Saints Medical Center, Harris Methodist and Plaza Medical Center in Fort Worth, and Texas Health Arlington Memorial  and Medical Center of Arlington in Arlington, Tx.

Dr. Sharif is well recognized in the community and amongst his peers.  He was chosen as a Super Doctor Rising Star by Texas Monthly Magazine in the years 2014 and 2015. He was also featured as a Top Doc in the 360 West Magazine. He is a member of Tarrant County Medical Society, Fort Worth Surgical Society, American Medical Association, Southwestern Surgical Congress, Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, Society of Surgery of Alimentary Tract, American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Surgeons and American Hepato-Pancreatico-Biliary Association.
